Learn to Walk in the Dark without Artificial Light

Yes, it’s true. You can learn to walk in complete darkness, without using a torch or any other form of artificial light.


Imagine being able to enjoy dark skies, naturally, by using special techniques to access your natural night vision abilities.


NightWalking isn’t just about being able to find your way around in the dark. You’ll learn to use your peripheral vision, which is known to reduce anxiety and increase feelings of relaxation and wellbeing.


People who learn NightWalking report losing their fear of the dark, and find they “feel part of the night” instead of being separate from it.


Beginning NightWalkers are often surprised at how much detail they can learn to see, both in the sky and the landscape.


Katie Raver is based in the South Western USA, and learned to NightWalk in the piney woods outside Austin, Texas, having being taught by developer, Nelson Zink, in Taos, New Mexico.


She has thousands of hours of NightWalking experience, both with workshop groups and on solo expeditions. Katie has been able to condense the basics into a format which you can learn from her over Zoom.


Katie will be visiting the UK in 2025, to run face-to-face NightWalking workshops. In the meantime, you can join us on Zoom for the next best thing!
